Juan Corchado, also known as Joe, emigrated from the island of Puerto Rico in the lae 60's He worked in the office furniture business for twenty years as a Sales Associate where he earned achievements for the million dollar sales club.Mr. Corchado's focus has been, and still is the serve Governmet, Education, Health and Corperate entities, for which he is well known. With his acquired knowledge, Mr corchado started his own office furniture and design dealership in 1997, which has moved forward on a steady growth for the past 17 years, going from annual sales for $168K in its first year of operation to 7M.Mr.Corchado continues to express his strong Hispanic Heritage through voice and action for Minority Business Enterprises. He has shown his continued support by becoming involved and contributing his time and funds to organizations that stand for the enhancement of Minority Communities and Businesses.Mr. Corchado is a member and/or contributor ro several Hispanic organizations, such as; Hispanics in Real Estate and  Construction, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Queens Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.Mr. Corchado was recognized and saluted as one of the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Business Visionaries. In addition, he is the recipient of the MBE Award of Excellene from NY State Assembly & Senate Hispanic Task Force. He also received an award for excellence in business from Somos el Futuro and was rexognized and awarded as Business Person of the year by Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
